Holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Oklahoma State University, USA, graduated in 1985, and became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) through the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants in 1992, which helped him establish a solid foundation in the financial field. He began his professional career as a Senior Auditor at Arthur Andersen in Amman, Jordan, from 1989 to 1995, and later became an Audit Manager at the firm until 2001. He then moved to Ernst & Young as a Senior Manager, where he continued until 2022, taking on key responsibilities, including auditing financial institutions such as banks and insurance companies, while managing the Audit and Financial Consulting departments in the Riyadh office. He also played a strategic role as a member of the Advisory Partner Council for the Europe, Middle East, Africa, and India regions

In addition to his executive career, Yanal is actively involved as an independent member of audit and nomination committees for several companies, including the Middle East Pharmaceutical Industries Company, Rafal Real Estate Development Company, and Hana Food Industries Company, where he provides valuable financial insights that contribute to the performance and growth of these businesses
